November 7th, 2009 — hair loss treatment
Illinois hair loss treatment spans a number of different options such as using Rogaine, Propecia, coloring agents, hairpieces as well as hair transplantations and professional hair transplant surgery. What works best depends on whether you can learn to live with your looks, or taking the medical approach to treating hair loss. Of the available options, you may want to choose Rogaine or try out Propecia as a first line of defense.
Hair Transplantations Benefit You With An Absence Of Side Effects
What is especially noticeably advantageous to having an Illinois hair loss treatment is to go in for hair transplantation that gives you the added benefit of not having any side effects to contend with. No doubt, there is the tiny risk of infection from having such an Illinois hair loss treatment, but it is not enough to warrant not considering it as a viable solution.
Illinois hair loss treatment in the form of hair transplantation can involve more than a single procedure, but it does not require taking medication every day. This is a hair loss treatment that also does not need monthly adjustment, or having a specially trained professional perform any cleaning. You can also rest assured that the transplantation will not come off during a shower, or in especially windy conditions. There is also no reason to fear it coming off while swimming, or requiring rinsing it out.
You can also choose a different Illinois hair loss treatment by opting to have instead a professional hair transplant surgery. This is a good option because you may fear that a normal hair transplant surgery will not have been performed properly. This can happen when a doctor is inexperienced, or lacks artistry in laying out the hairline in an appropriate manner. So, before you choose this Illinois hair loss treatment option make sure to check out the “before” and “after” hair transplant surgery photographs of the concerned doctor’s previous patients. You may also consider it necessary to meet with former patients to ascertain the veracity of his claims.
You may want to check out Dr. Marc A. Pomerantz, who is a Chicago Illinois hair loss treatment expert dealing with hair restoration as well as hair replacements that personally involves him with patients, right from initial consultation to completion. At his Chicago Hair Institute you will find state-of-the-art techniques which synthesize the best modern methods available, and allow him to create natural hairlines as well as hair transplantations that are virtually undetectable.

December 19th, 2007 — hair loss treatment
If you witnessed your father and grandfather dropping their hair like madmen when they was around the age of 50, you are unfortunately very likely to look like the top of an egg when you reach that age yourself. Sure, it’s not a pretty picture, but after all, you can grow your hair back after using the new thymuskin hair loss treatment.
The thymuskin hair loss treatment is a supposedly new (I’ve heard similar things happen if you rub your mother-in-law’s five day old urine onto your scalp - however, the source is somewhat unreliable) process that stimulates the dormant but live follicles of your hair and somehow makes them grow again. There is always a chance that your hair will begin to grow again, even if the hair loss is caused by poor diet, heredity or illness, through the use of the thymuskin hair loss treatment.
Thymuskin Hair Loss Treatment - Should You Try?
Take a look inn the sink or on the bathroom floor after a shower - is there a large pile of hair (pubes don’t count) there? Cause, if there is, theres a pretty good chance you are going bald. Did you know that studies shows that we normally lose over 100 strands of hair each day? Did you know that a huge pile of hair on the floor every day - is not normal? You may need thymuskin hair loss treatment to stop the balding process before it’s to late.
Thymuskin products exists in three different varieties - thymuskin treatment, the thymuskin gel and the thymuskin shampoo. For maximum effect, “experts” recommend using the treatment and the shampoo together for maximum effect. First you cleanse your scalp and hair with the shampoo. The shampoo itself contains extremely small thymus peptides that deeply penetrates the scalp to clean out debris, oil, dirt and similar waste matters that accumulates in the hair follicles. In short, using the shampoo mostly prepares the scalp for treatment.
After using the thymuskin shampoo to clean your hair, you are prepared to apply the thymuskin hair loss treatment in the form of lotion. Ohhh, scary, you may think. Not so; please read on. You simply apply the lotion directly onto the scalp and gently massage the scalp to make it easy for the skin to absorb the lotion. Don’t apply more shampoo than what your doctor told you. The lotion can be applied once a day, or in accord with some other schedule devised by your hair specialist.
The thymuskin gel contains more concentrated ingredients and should not be used at the same time as the lotion and the shampoo. You can use all the three products at the same day, but not at the same time. For example, you can use the gel in the morning and the shampoo and the lotion in the evening. The gel is usually effective for 12 hours.

Baldness is always associated with aging, and if you are balding, people tend to think you are already somewhere in your 60s or older.
Then there are those poor souls who bald in their early 40s and 50s. It can be very distressing being bald at this early age. It certainly is very stressful going bald at any age. If you know you are one of those people being prone to baldness, you might want to check out some new hair loss treatment processes that bring back your youthful killer look.
Finding the Right New Hair Loss Treatment
The best possible way to find the right hair loss treatment that fits you is to go see an hair loss specialist, preferably one that kicks ass. How do you find someone that does that? One common tactic is to keep in mind everyone you know that suffers from hair loss. If you suddenly note any major improvement in their condition, simply ask how they did it; what product they used or who they went to. The advantage of doing this is preventing problems that are common with some forms of treatment. Also, some new hair loss treatment products can cause problems, especially if you have had any allergies.
Some of the new hair loss treatment products can contain irritating ingredients or cause skin allergies. Even if the label on the new hair loss treatment product claims that it is hypoallergenic, your scalp can easily become irritated if it is overly sensitive to some substances.
Not everyone reacts to a new hair loss treatment the same way. Different people may need different treatments. Just because a certain treatment works wonders for someone you know, it is not a guarantee that the same treatment will give you the same results. Testing different approaches and persistence is the key. If it seems like the new hair loss treatment does not work for you or if you experience adverse effects, stop that treatment and inform a health professional.
If you decide to use a new hair loss treatment product, be sure to closely follow the instructions given on the package, or by your doctor. Some new hair loss treatments have undesirable side effects when used longer than intended by the manufacturers, so be sure not to use it any longer than prescribed. To further hammer this important point into your head, let me tell you that there have been incidents where someone decided to use a new hair loss treatment longer than prescribed, which lead to ugly hair growth on the face. This sucks big time, especially if you are a woman, so please follow the instructions.
December 10th, 2007 — Hair Loss Causes
Lack of iron have for a long time been suspected as having a key role in hair loss. While it has been widely accepted that there is a link between hair loss and deficiencies, it has not been easy to directly link lack of iron to the symptoms of hair loss.
However, a new study performed by L’Oreal has shown evidence that there certainly is a link. Iron deficiency is a factor in hair loss. This study confirms the correlation between hair loss and deficiencies.
Researchers say that many of the women in UK have too little iron. Iron deficiency is the most common nutritional disorder in the UK, and often lead to such symptoms as lethargy, behavioral problems and decreased appetite.
In many cases, taking iron supplements is probably a good idea, but don’t overdo it. Overdosing on iron leads to increased risk of chronic diseases. Visit your doctor and ask for a test to measure the levels of iron in your blood. Your doctor will be able to advice you on which actions to take in order to minimize the trouble causing and caused by hair loss and deficiencies.

It doesn’t matter whether you are a man or a woman, getting enough of the essential vitamins are important in order to stop hair loss. A balanced diet and enough of all essential vitamins are important, but only a few vitamins help directly with stopping hair loss. In order to be sure that your hair stays where it’s supposed to, is to take the appropriate amounts of vitamins for hair loss prevention. Here they are:
Folic Acid
Folic acid has been said to be the most important vitamin when it comes to preventing hair loss. Folic acid is regarded as important for women’s health, but not as often mentioned when it comes to the health of the hair. Taking folic acid helps in preventing future hair loss, as well as decrease already thinning hair. You can get folic acid in soybeans and nuts, or you could buy it as an over the counter supplement for easier measuring.
Vitamin E
Vitamin is also an important vitamin that plays a role in the prevention of hair loss. Vitamin E promotes healthy blood flow in the body and to the head, and thereby hair follicles. You can find Vitamin E in spinach and lettuce as well as whole grains and in nuts.
Vitamin A
Another very important vitamin for the prevention of hair loss is Vitamin A. It plays an important role in maintaining healthy and vibrant hair, vision and skin. Its role in hair loss prevention is to promote healthy cell growth around hair follicles, preventing them from becoming brittle and dry. You can find vitamin A in several types of food, but it occurs mostly vegetables and fruits. It also occurs in salads, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, eggs and meats from organs, such as liver.
As this blog post has made it clear, there are several vitamins that are important for the hair and to prevent thinning hair. Most of the vitamins can be taken as supplements. It is however best if they are naturally included in your daily diet. Please consult your doctor if you are unsure if you are missing vitamins. Also, be careful and seek advice from medical professionals if you are pregnant or nursing.
December 5th, 2007 — Hair Loss Causes
Hair loss problems are mosly experienced by men. However, it also affects women. Even unlucky teenage girls experience problems with hair growth. There are several reasons for this, which is what this blog post shall explore.
1. Nutritional Defiency
One of the causes of female hair loss is nutritional defiency. Hair loss is commonly a side effect of anorexia, but of course, one don’t have to be anorexic to suffer hair loss due to defiency of important nutritional elements. Even rather small nutritional imbalances can cause thinning or balding hair. This seem to be the case with some women who are very sensitive regarding imbalances.
The Solution: Change your diet for the better and add a vitamin supplement.
2. Harsh Styling
One common cause of hair loss in women of all ages is harsh styling. Due to harh styling, the hair is broken off close to the follicle, which on a large scale adds to the illusion of less hair. Perms, and even hair coloring products can cause the hair to break off. Curlers can snag and break the hair.
The Solution: Stop using harsh hair styling products, and for godness sake, please treat your hair more gently! Use a deep conditioning treatment of high quality oncew a week to promote hair strength. Ask you hairdresser, he/she should be able to help you find the best conditioner for your hair.
You could also take a vitamin supplement in order to improve hair health. Use a wide-tooth comb when detangling and a detangling spray. Speak to your hairdresser about coloring treatments and perms, and how it may effect your hair.
3. Hormonal Imbalances
Hormones are guilty of a lot of things that happens in the body. Some hormonal fluctations can cause hair to fall out in some women. A common example is hair loss following pregnancy. Some women experience losing a rather noticeable amount of hair after giving birth. This is the result of hormonal changes in the body. The hair will grow back once the hormones are balanced.
Solution: Talk to your doctor if you think your hair growth problems are caused hormonal changes. The doctor is best suited to evaluate your condition and devise a plan of action to restore normal levels of hair growth.
4. Genetics
The most common cause of thinning hair in women is genetics. It is likely to occur if your mother and grandmother experienced balding or thinning hair. By being aware of your genetics, you can prepare and prevent premature thinning hair or baldness.
Solution: Get other genes.
December 3rd, 2007 — hair loss treatment
In this cruel world, many men and some unlucky women start to suffer hair loss as they get older. Everyone react differently to this part of the aging process, and everyone faced with hair loss try to find their own hair loss solution. There are some people who has hair loss problems who have no hair loss solution yet. The majority of these people accept the aging process and the symptoms that comes with it. The fact is that hair loss does not bother them any more than their wrinkles. So I guess you could say that their hair loss solution is to accept the aging process. These people simply don’t care. And yet they thrives and functions with the signs of baldness displayed for all to see on their heads.
Some people get some sort of hairpiece to cover up the signs of baldness. Other people get toupees or hairpieces that hides the evidence of baldness. This hair loss solution is cheaper than most treatments, but the backside is that it is not a treatment. Some of these hair loss solutions are outright laughable, and it’s painfully evident that these low quality hairpieces are just that - hairpieces.
Most of these hairpieces sports unnatural colors or the color doesn’t match the natural hair of the person wearing the toupee. Then there is the chance of the hairpiece simply falling of the head - at the wrong moment.
Hair Loss Solutions - Only for the Rich?
As much as fifty percent of all men over the age of 50 experience hair loss. Since so many people are affected, many different hair loss solutions have emerged to help those who suffers from it. There are even laser treatments catering to those who worries about becoming bald. Then there are some surgical treatments that transplants growing hair to where it has stopped growing. The solutions vary wildly in expense. Those who decides to simply not care how the most important part of their body, the head, looks like to other people, saves a lot of money. A great deal of other hair loss solutions are certain to cost a substantial amount of the green stuff. Although lots of people are affected by hair loss symptoms, many of these people choose some alternative way toward a hair loss solution that works for them. The satisfaction that people get from the hair loss solution they have chosen often vary substantially.
November 26th, 2007 — Hair Loss
Many people have asked themselves the question with the ever so elusive answer… Does working out cause hair loss??
It’s a question even the so called experts have problems answering. Besides being a bunch of n**sacks, these experts claim that hair loss is caused by a mixture of things, such as heredity, genes, number of children (just kidding :-)) environment and lifestyle.
But how come? Is this just imagination? Is the huge wads of hair left on my pillow upon waking up, just imagination? If I started working out three months ago, and my hair started falling off one week after starting to work out, it just can’t be an coincidence, can it?
Well, mister smart guy, let me tell you a story.
The Pygmalion Effect
Once upon a time in Rome, a man wondered “Does Working Out Cause Hair Loss?”. Little did he know it would take hundreds of years before a genius decided to write the answer in his blog.
Meanwhile, a sculptor in Greece named Pygmalion created a sculpture of an incredible hot woman. She had huge ti*s and a great ass. He fantasized so much about this sculpture being real, that the Gods finally made the sculpture into a real woman.
The Pygmalion effect is what happens when someone thinks much about something, such as whether or not working out cause hair loss, that the miniscule evidence becomes magnified and inflated, leading to a false belief.
So, it’s just my imagination? Come on, I’m not stupid!
Well, when everything settles down, the only thing you should trust, besides me, is your own instincts. IF you started working out, and see great wads of hair left on your pillow, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. But instead of stopping the health regimen, consider looking into alternatives.
DHT, dihydrotestosterone, is linked with hair loss. The levels of DHT increases when working out. So, yes, there are a correlation between working out and hair loss. But instead of stopping to work out, rather look into ways to reduce the levels of DHT.
One great product to lower the levels of DHT is Profollica.
